St. Georgen outdoor pool: 50th birthday celebration with action and party!
A very special event is being celebrated in the St. Georgen outdoor pool in Altötting: the outdoor pool is 50 years old! The anniversary celebrations are taking place on July 26th and 27th, which every water lover shouldn't miss. A varied program is offered that is exciting for both young and old bathers. The anticipation is great and there is a lot on offer to properly celebrate the big birthday.
The BRK Wasserwacht local group Altötting-Neuötting will kick things off, which in turn looks back on 80 years of club history. The 12-hour swim will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26th. If you would like to compete with other swimmers or just enjoy swimming together, you can register online. The youth work from Alt- and Neuötting has prepared an exciting supporting program so that boredom is quickly ruled out. There is also Aqua Fitness with the popular personal trainer Kathi Meier.
Celebrations and entertainment
From 7:00 p.m. on Saturday it gets really loud when the band BAECK IN TOWN provides musical entertainment. Admission to the evening party is free, so nothing stands in the way of a successful evening. On Sunday we continue with an aqua park in the large pool, where bathers can really immerse themselves again.
Another highlight is the first BEACH VOLLEY BALL TOURNAMENT, which is organized by the Altötting gymnastics club. With musical support from DJ David Geisberger, participants can look forward to exciting matches. Anyone who would like to register for the tournament can do so by July 20th at tv-altoetting.de/jubilaumsbeach/ do. For the little guests there will be a bouncy castle and a wheel of fortune with small prizes on both days, which will ensure happy faces.

However, the St. Georgen outdoor pool doesn't just have a lot to offer during the holidays. The leisure and recreation center has a heated pool fed with its own spring water. Special features include the 50 meter swimmer's pool, which is divided into different zones. Here, athletes can show off their skills on the sports track, while the freestyle zone offers space for relaxed swimming.
The adventure pool with two impressive slides and a paddling pool for younger visitors, which is equipped with an elephant slide and lots of play equipment, provide more fun. There are also offers for sports enthusiasts such as tennis courts, table tennis tables and a soccer area - everyone gets their money's worth here!
